BMB Permanent 2011

Relive the Magic!

That was then; this is now.

Q: I rode BMB as a randonnee. How will it be different as a permanent?

A: BMB as a permanent is a self supported ride. Having said that, there are hotels, restaurants, convenience stores, and other services along the way.

Riders are required to obtain proof of passage at the designated checkpoints. This could mean getting a receipt for something you bought or a receipt from an ATM to document your ride.

As with all brevets and permanents, personal support is allowed only at designated checkpoints. In particular, follow vehicles are strictly forbidden.

If you’re riding without vehicle support, you can carry what you need, buy it along the way, or ship it (UPS/FedEx) to your hotel.

Just ask.
